PRIVATE AVIATION
The case for a private jet, some of the time
Not every trip needs one. The ones that do usually share the same shape.

Private aviation makes the most sense on trips with a shape that commercial travel doesn't accommodate well: a same-day return, a departure time that only exists at 6am from a small airfield, a group travelling with equipment or on a schedule that can't shift.
For everything else — a straightforward one-way trip with normal luggage and a flexible schedule — commercial travel, arranged well, does the job. Part of travel management is telling a client when a private aircraft isn't the answer, not just sourcing one whenever asked.
