Discretion gets used as a marketing word more often than it gets practiced as a standard. In practice, it means a few concrete things: a request is never mentioned to anyone who doesn't need to know it; a driver doesn't discuss one client with another; a property's location isn't shared beyond the people arranging the stay.
It also means not performing exclusivity — no name-dropping, no implying who else uses a service, no treating a client's business as a story to tell. The measure of good discretion is that it's invisible; you only notice it when it's missing.
